Enztech was established in 1978 as a company specialising in the design, installation and operation of bioreactors. Since 1990, Enztech has been the Australian and New Zealand distributor for Applikon's range of bioreactors and ancillary equipment. Enztech has been responsible for providing many bioreactor systems, from simple single bioreactors to the largest installations in the region.

Applikon has grown to be the leading global supplier of autoclavable bioreactors from one to twenty litres capacity. In addition, the Applikon stainless steel sterilisable-in-place pilot plant bioreactors are widely used by leading corporate and research organisations. User friendly data acquisition and control software is available, as is a high quality range of pH and dissolved oxygen steam sterilisable probes.
